Mandatory Changes
- Gills on the side of her neck
- Blue, patchy scales on her legs and arms
- Fins similar to glaucus atlanticus fins behind her ears, on her forearms, and legs. They are very poisonous and can cause extremely painful, thin cuts on the area it comes in contact with. Rhyme normally has her fins covered, either with bandages or clothing.
- Water form: Rhyme's water form has the tail of a nurse shark, with her glaucus atlanticus fins still attached near the bottom end of the tail.
- Sight, smell, and hearing is increased. The smell is similar to a shark's sense of smell. Rhyme's sense of hearing and sight are about 1.5 times that of a human's.
- Resistance to water pressure (15,750 psi is the deepest point in the ocean, assuming that's the deepest she can handle)
- Need for water (Rhyme must swim biweekly at least, and drink water daily)
- Feeds on human energy
- As stated before, her fins are poisonous (think Man of War poison)
- A dorsal fin similar to the ones shown here. It is in both her land and water form.
- Small, brown spots on her stomach.
- A soothing singing voice.
- Jaw can unhinge to reveal three sets of shark teeth
- Eyes go all black, no iris or whites involved
- Extra set of gills appear on Rhyme's face
- Rhyme becomes eerily thin, skin sticking to her ribs and bones
- Fins similar to Reaper wings stick straight out of her back, instead of to the side
- Three-inch long claws
- Becomes nurse shark size (14 feet/4.75 meters) in water form

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character Name: Raimu “Rhyme” Bito
Age: 11
Canon: The World Ends With You
Canon Point: End of Day 3, Week 1
Character Information: http://twewy.wikia.com/wiki/Rhyme
Personality: Rhyme, at first look, is an cheerful, friendly, and generally helpful kid. However, underneath all that, lies a girl who is sensitive, easily scared, and insecure in her own body.
From the first time we see her, it is easily seen that Rhyme is much smarter than she looks. Besides being able to convince Beat from hurting an innocent Player, which should be considered a feat in itself because of his hotheadedness, she’s easily able to tell that Neku and Shiki are not Reapers due to her inability to scan them, which Beat had tried on her before. While a seemingly simple observation, the fact that she scanned them in the first place to check if they were safe is a smart move by itself, and we see no one else in the game do that, even Beat, who had done it in the first place. Later in the conversation, she proves her smartness by showing Neku and Shiki functions on their phone, which they had presumed to be useless until that point. Rhyme says she found this info while tinkering around with her phone, which just goes to show how ingenious she is. She’s the youngest of the Players, yet finds a lot of information on the Game as a whole in just one day. Her intelligence and ability to pick up new information saves a lot of time for her and her partner, as well as Neku and Shiki.
However, she’s never condescending. Beat is rather dese and would be a frustrating person to teach in most circumstances, but Rhyme seems to have no trouble making him understand new information. She never makes fun of anyone, but instead is patient and understanding that not everyone has the gifts she does. She’s rather humble, never even suggesting that she understood something and had to explain it to her partner—she’s always saying that Beat and her discover things together, even though Beat will admit much later in the game that she was the one that understood the harder things. She calmly reminds Beat of things he forgets, and gently corrects him when he mixes up or mashes up words. While it is clear to outsiders that Rhyme is the brains of the pair, she never lets anyone feel like they’re less than her.
Her kindness and optimism are in abundance, too. She doesn’t ask Neku or Shiki for anything back for the help that she gives them, and gives them a free pin on top of that for them to use. Granted, it was a duplicate, but she could have easily sold it to get clothing or another pin, but she didn’t. Even though she had just met them, Rhyme was willing to help them out more than she needed to. While not a part of her history from her canon point, she goes on to the fourth day to sacrifice herself to save Beat, who, although he was her partner, still practically a stranger. The Reaper’s Game is a game of life and death, but she never loses hope that she’ll survive, and is always there to support Beat in whatever he does, even if she wouldn’t do it herself, like racing through Shibuya. Rhyme is a light in the dark world of the Reapers Game.
Of course, she’s not without fault. Rhyme is a girl that needs other people around her, perhaps not constantly, but often, and when she is rejected, it can sting. She tries to suggest that the two teams, hers and Neku’s, pair up, and when it sparks a fight between Neku and Shiki, she blames herself. It puts her in a bad enough funk that Beat takes her away, which shows just how much she needs Beat in order to protect her. Rhyme also comments how it’s sad no one can see them in the real Shibuya, suggesting that she doesn’t like to be alone. When discussing herself, Rhyme can be hard on herself, even though she’s so sure of Beat being able to accomplish his dream, she’s not sure if hers will find her. Whenever Rhyme feels down, it’s always someone else that cheers her up, showcasing that she needs others to help keep her mood and optimism up, and she would have a hard time being alone.
